Beginning My Capstone:
I first got in contact with Ms.Muriel and meet with her to discuss my capstone. Once our meeting was done, I emailed the principal of Naylor to also gain her approval. When that was done, I filled the Hartford Schools forms need and was able to begin my capstone.
Media Release Form:
After the first week of working with the kindergarteners, I put together a media release form, explaining who I was and what my capstone was, and sent it out to every parent. Every parent was able to return the form!
Artifacts
Beginning all my days, I start with looking through every students homework folder, correcting the nights before work and adding the following nights work. I also file any new work/tests in each student file. As well as prepare any work and packets Ms.Muriel needs me too.
Everyday of working with Ms. Muriel's class, I was able to walk around help work within reading and math centers. Here are some of the students working on different kinds of puzzles during centers time.
February 14th, 2020: Our group valentines day activity. This day I came up with a fun activity and worked on it with the students. Everyone was excited and had some fun.
